KIMS Hospitals Thane is a 300-bed greenfield super-speciality hospital at Hiranandani Estate on Ghodbunder Road, which began operations in May 2025. It is part of KIMS Hospitals (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences), a listed hospital group with a network across five Indian states.
The hospital offers more than 30 specialities and super-specialities, with major programmes in cardiac sciences (including a TAVR/TAVI centre and pacemaker clinic), neuro sciences, oncological sciences, orthopaedic sciences, renal sciences, gastro sciences, critical care and mother and child care.
Advanced technology includes the da Vinci Xi surgical robot, a joint replacement robot, Brainlab neuro-navigation, two cath labs, Elekta Versa HD radiation therapy, 16-channel Flexitron brachytherapy, 3T MRI, 128-slice CT, PET-CT and SPECT, along with a thulium laser system and high-definition GI and respiratory endoscopy.
The hospital has a 51-bed intensive care unit, described as the largest in Thane, a 19-bed emergency department offering 24x7 emergency and trauma care, and a bone marrow transplantation centre and breast centre within its oncology services.
International patients are supported through the KIMS Hospitals group's International Patients service, which offers help with planning the visit, an Ask Our Expert facility for remote medical opinions, and an online payment service for overseas patients and their families.
